These views are “Captivating”… you can see the waves crashing along the shoreline from the living area and the Masterbedroom. The unit is on the Southernmost end of the Turtle Dunes building, so you have lots of privacy. The beautiful pool area has the Ocean as the backdrop and was recently renovated in 2019. Showers right near the beach walkout and very close to “TOES TOUCHING THE SAND” No LONG WALKOUT!

Master Bath has large walk in tile shower with hand held shower sprayer and tiled seat.. Second Bath has tub/shower combo. Both Bedrooms have wood laminate flooring…no carpet in condo. The Living Room features new comfortable Oversized Sofas and Chair. New Sliding Glass Doors and Oceanside window for clear view of ocean. Upgraded high speed internet and unlimited free long distance calling are available as well as hundred’s of TV channels. 2 – 4 Beach Chairs available for guests use upon request. Great unit, great view

Dee has kept the unit very well. It has everything you can ever think of wanting. Beach towels, beach chairs, good quality shampoo, soap, conditioner, enough garbage bags and cleaners for an entire week. Kitchen has everything as well. The unit has a great view of the lawn and the ocean. So we were quite happy about that.

The master bedroom is large and airy, but the second bedroom is a little dingy – very little light.

Location has great proximity to the ocean, but it very far away from main fernandina beach that has a lot of restaurants etc. additionally – we saw a snake and two coyotes on the building property just steps away from us. So we got scared as we have a puppy and we wanted to leave as soon as possible

So I would definitely say that this property is great for humans, if you have pets.. then maybe go to main downtown fernandina beach

This property and its management were excellent. The detailed description in the VRBO listing was perfect. Great ocean view from the balcony and easy walking access to the beach. The surrounding area inside the resort has beautiful and lush landscaping, trees and walking paths. Amelia Island is now one of our favorite stays with VRBO.

Great Getaway!

This is a very comfortable 2 bedroom 2 full bath oceanfront condo. Nicely appointed and lots of little touches to make it feel very homey. It was squeaky clean upon our arrival and there were Clorox wipes and Microban disinfectant spray for any additional cleaning we felt necessary to do with Covid. This unit truly has everything you need. We cooked many meals in the unit due to covid and I was pleasantly surprised to find all the pots/pans, baking dishes and cooking utensils I needed, even had a meat thermometer! The master bedroom is a nice size with ocean views. Two teenaged girls had no issues with room in their bedroom. The beds were all very comfortable. Plenty of towels. We brought beach towels but there were ones we could have used in the unit. There were also beach chairs to use in the unit. The ocean is a short walk from the building to a very large beach and not crowded at all. The pool is very large with lots of seating. We did not use it because the beach was what we went for, but it was nice to know it was there if we wanted to hop in! We used the tennis courts a short walk from the building which was perfect. Easy first come, first serve policy and never had to wait. Turtle Dunes is located at the end of plantation so you really feel safe, it’s very quiet and nice to walk either the beach or the walking paths and streets on the property. Dee the property manager was wonderful at answering all of our questions and was only a text away if we needed anything. Definitely recommend this condo. Will miss watching the waves, the beautiful sunrises and the many pelicans flying over the ocean. Looking forward to another trip to Turtle Dunes and Amelia Island!!

Great trip to Amelia Island in fabulous Condo!

Our first stay on the island was wonderful. The condo has a great view and is literally steps away from the beach. It has everything you could possibly need to cook and to serve beautiful meals. The owners have invested in decorating the condo to be warm and inviting. And, for the us the master bed was very comfortable. But, the real delight was dealing with Dee who is the property manager. She stepped through the process so that we knew we were safe and well taken care of. Very, very easy.
